Got it right off. I thought it was funny.
Though, I do see why it might take some one a bit. Maybe "I don't know" or "I can't tell" would be clearer than "I couldn't say" but I think it would lose something if you changed it.
I liked it, for what it's worth.

I agree... it's that kind of old style talking, as in 'say now, how about that drink?'
I try and talk like that because it sounds better than the quasi english of my birth place, but, as a consequence, no one knows what I am talking (or drawing) about... still, that has been the case for many years now.

It's a very good playboy destined joke. Really, very good.
It contains all the humor and funnyness of those from long time (and for the most part, deceased)playboy's cartoonists like sokol, dedini, etc, but with your own drawing style.
Keep on the good work man.
The only thing. And i say, the only ONE thing that confused me is that the "period" could be interpreted as a "comma", making me wondering if there's one or two sentences.
I think the joke is better with two separated sentences but, you know, i may be wrong; english isn't my first language.
